EME Lighting is one of the top Lighting companies located in the heart of Guzhen town, the Lighting Capital of China. After learning about the history and culture of EME Lighting and working closely with EME’s internal management team for over a year, I am honored to be the designated designer of their new identity.
Hot off the press and up on the facade of their showroom today, 06-08-2012 at 7pm was the first public display of their new logo shown in their new banner. If you walk by this 44.4 meter by 6.1 meter banner, you can smell the fresh ink in the air.
Across the street from this banner is Guzhen’s International (Guo Mao) Hotel shown below.
These are the banners on the other side of EME’s showroom facing Guzhen’s Government building.
Last but not least, this is the billboard on one of Guzhen’s main intersections leading to Guzhen’s rail station.
EME stands for “Emperor of the Eagle”. The new design is an abstract eagle with an upward curve symbolizing ambition and strength formed by the three letters, “EME.”
Here is a comparison of the old logo on the left and the new one on the right. I have also created a new tagline that is simple and visual for EME Lighting, “Lighting SuprEME. ” The “eme” in the word Supreme is formed with EME Lighting’s new logo.
What do you this of this redesign?
